Think Value

A research base for people who do their own work.

What this house is

Think Value is a research house, not a shop. Everything here is a pointer: you bring the question; we lay out the numbers and the assumptions behind them, and you arrive at your own conclusion. What we publish is what we produce.

The Method

First sources first. Every dataset is wired to the first place it was published — the filing, the exchange, the registry — and named on the page. Where a number comes from is part of the number.

Assumptions on screen. A valuation, a forecast, a worked case: the inputs sit beside the output, where you can change them and watch the answer move. Nothing hides inside a default.

Signals, not instructions. We hand you pointers — the figures, the structure, the checks. The conclusion is yours, reached by your own work.

Proof over promise. What we claim is what we have checked, and the checking is part of the publication. Where the evidence stops, the page says so.

Rooms

Research Analyst — Our flagship tool, a single-security research workspace that produces structured reports from company filings and first-source data. One security at a time, built up from the documents themselves, so you can see how each figure was reached. It lives at analyst.thinkvalue.org.

The Quant Lab — Research Analyst's study surface, at analyst.thinkvalue.org: the numbers behind a business — trend computation, DuPont decomposition, forensic scores (Altman Z, Beneish M, Sloan accruals), and valuation with every assumption on screen — DCF, reverse DCF, sensitivity grids — alongside capital-allocation history: what a company's management actually did with its cash, year by year. Numbers only, never recommendations.

The Lab is a study surface, not a terminal: pick one security and work its numbers in order — trend first, then structure, then the forensic checks, then valuation with its assumptions open on the table. It is built for unhurried study, the way a research desk works before anyone talks about conclusions.

The Knowledge Bank — Articles and essays on financial analytics, analytics in general, decision science, and verification, written from the house's own research. Reading for the work of thinking clearly about evidence.

How we work

The house keeps a short constitution, and we hold to it plainly. We offer research services only: we never say buy, sell, or hold, never recommend, never advise, never call a stock good or bad, never bet. We give pointers — signals, analytics, tools — and people do their own work and reach their own conclusions. We never handle other people's money: no managing, no performance, no custody, anywhere in the house. We are ad-free, affiliate-free, and tracking-free, and we don't harvest user data. Every dataset is wired to its first source of truth and named on the page; missing data stays missing, never fabricated, never zero-filled. We publish only what we produce, with limited market data appearing only where a page genuinely needs it. Pages can be read aloud, as an accessibility layer. Think Value is operated by 2351485 ALBERTA INC. (AIMLDS). Our sister publication, Think With Finance, remains its own property and is cross-linked here.
